Pete Smith

pete-smithPete’s interest in fitness and the outdoors started when he was in the Army. During this time (apart from the fitness training that the Army made him do!) he took part in the Cyprus Mountain Marathon, cross country and downhill mountain biking and S.A.S. selection training. On leaving the Army he helped set up the Brecon Multisport Club before co-founding Aspire Fitness and Aspire Adventure. Pete’s is a qualified physiotherapist which can come in very useful whilst on adventure challenges! Pete has been completing and leading mountain challenges and treks throughout the UK for a number of years, specialising in arranging and leading charity challenges for over ten years.  Pete is co- founder of Aspire Fitness and Aspire Adventure.


Joe Timmins

joe-timminsJoe’s mountain experience and trekking goes back to primary
when his grandparents run a Youth Hostel near Wasdale Head, at the foot of Scafel Pike in the Lake District. He is co- founder of Aspire fitness and Aspire Adventure, and has been successfully leading groups throughout the UK for a number of years. With a special interest in nutrition Joe will make sure you eat all the calories needed to keep your energy levels up.
Joe has successfully prepared individuals for a range of challenges from The National 3 Peaks Challenge, the Himalayas, Kilimanjaro, and Everest base camp. Joe is keen to see individuals succeed and has planned and supported individuals with training days, weekends and gym sessions. A keen endurance athlete Joe has completed an Iron Man Distance Triathlon, The 100 mile Ultra Tour of the Lake District and climbed in Peru. Joe is co- founder of Aspire Fitness and Aspire Adventure.


Ben Morris

ben-morrisBen is a sports science graduate and has climbed in this country and abroad since joining university. Ben is  a qualified Mountain Leader and Single Pitch rock climbing instructor has been leading groups on personal and charity treks for over ten years. Ben has trained people to complete various challenegs abroad including climbs of Kilimanjaro, and trekking in the Himalayas, as well as numerous British Challenges . Ben’s confident, calm and encouraging approach will support you through the toughest of times or weather.....  Since finishing his competitive Rugby playing he has changed his focus to ultra mountain and trail running races. He completed the Lakeland 50mile  Ultra marathon in 2012, and since has completed numerous ultra events including The Dragons Back Race 2015, the Lakeland 100, the 107 mile Spine Challanger (Birtains most Brutal 100miler), numerous 40 and 50miles mountain ultras.  He has also taken part in several multisport adventure races. Ben is co- founder of Aspire Fitness, Aspire Adventure and more recently is focusing on setting up trail racing and challange events in the amazing South Wales countryside.


Mark Drew

mark-drewMarks is known to everyone as George due to his uncanny resemblance to the Rainbow character. Experienced and confident Mark is skilled in motivating individuals and has supported groups through a range of different challenges. George is great with all ages and abilities. George spends his free time climbing in the South Wales Valleys, Gower or Wye Valley, training for triathlon, or running in the hills with his springer spaniel Barney.  George has competed in the 70 Wild Miles, Hellrunner, numerous sprint and half ironman triathlons and the Welsh Etape. He is also an Ironman, having completed Tenby in 2013 and 2014, and Outlaw in 2015.
